Nature Share is for members of the Whatsapp Nature Group who live in the Parishes of Betchworth, Brockham, Buckland and Boxhill (now part of Boxhill and Headley Parish). The parishes are united by the natural environment of the Surrey Hills and the River Mole and its tributaries.
Through Whatsapp, we share photos, videos, stories, knowledge and questions about nature so that we learn together as a community and develop knowledge about the plants and animals that share their home with us.
The website provides a home for our collections of videos, photos other artefacts. We encourage creativity and welcome stories, poems, sketches and paintings - anything that appreciates and celebrates nature. We realise that nature is under threat and we share concerns for the need to protect nature and where possible do what we can to help nature flourish. Through small scale projects we help nature flourish and enhance biodiversity. A good example of this is the cultivation of wildflowers for insect pollinators.
